About Us
The Includers Club exists to create welcoming, inclusive community for neurodivergent children and their families — spaces where kids don’t have to mask, parents don’t have to explain, and everyone belongs as they are.

We believe community should be built around acceptance, flexibility, and shared understanding — not expectations or performance. Everything we do is grounded in the idea that neurodivergent children don’t need to be fixed to belong.
Changing the narrative. Creating the community.
Why We’re Here
Many families raising autistic and neurodivergent children struggle to find community spaces that truly feel safe — places where difference is understood, not managed.

The Includers Club was created in response to that gap.

We bring families together through thoughtfully designed programs and gatherings that center connection, dignity, and ease. Our goal is not to change children, but to change the experience of community itself.
What Guides Us
Our work is shaped by a few core beliefs:

-
Neurodivergent children deserve to be accepted exactly as they are
-
Community should be accessible, flexible, and low-pressure
-
Parents and caregivers deserve support without judgment
-
Connection matters more than compliance
-
Belonging should never be conditional

These values inform how our programs are designed, how our community shows up, and how we communicate with families.
What We Offer
The Includers Club provides community-based programs and opportunities that support both children and caregivers, including:

-
Inclusive playgroups and social opportunities
-
Parent connection and peer support
-
community conversations and learning grounded in neurodiversity-affirming principles

All of our offerings are designed to be welcoming, flexible, and responsive to the needs of real families — not rigid expectations.

What We Are
The Includers Club is a community organization.

We are not a therapy provider, medical service, or clinical program. We do not offer diagnosis, treatment, or professional counseling. Our role is to foster connection, understanding, and belonging — not to replace clinical or educational supports families may choose to pursue elsewhere.
A Community Built Together
The Includers Club is shaped by the families who participate, volunteer, and support our work. Every gathering, conversation, and connection helps shape a community where neurodivergent kids and their families feel seen, respected, and welcomed.

If you’re looking for community without conditions, you’re in the right place.
How The Includers Club Began
The Includers Club was founded by a parent who saw firsthand how hard it can be to find community spaces that truly welcome neurodivergent children and their families. That experience sparked a desire for something different — connection without pressure, and belonging without conditions.

Founded by Amy Mishima, The Includers Club is shaped every day by the families and community members who show up and support one another.
