What We Do
Building inclusive community, one gathering at a time.
The Includers Club exists to create welcoming, low-pressure community spaces for neurodivergent children and their families. We’re in the early stages of building this work — thoughtfully and intentionally — with our first offering launching soon.
Our focus is simple: connection without pressure, belonging without conditions.
Our First Offering: Monthly Inclusive Playgroups
What These Playgroups Are
Our monthly playgroups are unstructured, caregiver-attended gatherings where neurodivergent children and their families spend time together in a space where differences are expected and respected.
There is no set agenda, no required activities, and no expectation that children participate in a particular way.
Families may join for different reasons:
-
Some children enjoy being around peers, even without direct interaction
-
Some families are simply looking for a place to exist comfortably among others who understand
-
Some parents come for quiet connection with other caregivers who “get it”
All of those reasons — and more — are welcome here.
What To Expect
Come As You Are
Children are never expected to mask, perform, or fit a mold. Movement, sensory needs, stimming, observing, and different communication styles are all welcome.
Connection Over Comliance
There are no behavioral expectations, goals, or outcomes. Our gatherings prioritize comfort, safety, and connection — not rules or performance.
Family Centered
Playgroups are not drop-off events. Parents and caregivers stay with their children, creating a shared experience that supports both kids and adults.
Predictable, Not Rigid
We aim to offer enough structure for families to feel prepared, while remaining flexible and responsive to individual needs.
Growing With Our Community
We are intentionally starting small and growing alongside the families we serve. As our community develops, we hope to expand offerings in ways that reflect real needs, real voices, and real experiences.
Everything we build will be shaped by:
-
The families who show up
-
The feedback we receive
-
A commitment to staying flexible, accessible, and human as we grow
